Terms of Use
Last updated: October 21, 2026. By installing or using Duoday you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
1. Who we are
Duoday is provided by Andrii Boiko (sole proprietor (FOP) registered in Ukraine), Kyiv, Ukraine. Contact details are at the end of these terms.
2. Using Duoday
You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to accept these terms in your country or have a parent's or guardian's permission. Duoday is for personal, non-commercial use between people who have agreed to use it together. Only invite someone who wants to join, and do not use Duoday to monitor, harass or pressure anyone.
Duoday also works on your own. A pair has at most two members.
3. Free and Duoday Plus
The core of Duoday is free. Duoday Plus is optional and unlocks extra features. Our commitment: features that are free today will not be moved into Plus. One Plus subscription or purchase applies to both members of a pair for as long as the person who bought it stays in the pair.
4. Subscriptions, trial and purchases
- Duoday Plus is offered as an auto-renewing subscription (yearly or monthly) and as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the store before you buy and vary by region and currency; the US dollar prices on our website are a guide (“from”).
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account when you confirm the purchase.
- A subscription renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the period ends.
- The yearly plan includes a 7-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, it turns into a paid yearly subscription. Any unused part of a free trial is forfeited when you buy a subscription.
- Manage or cancel in your Apple ID or Google Play subscription settings. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
- Lifetime unlocks Plus features for as long as Duoday is offered. If we ever discontinue Duoday, we will give reasonable advance notice.
- Refunds and withdrawal are handled by Apple or Google under their terms and applicable consumer law; we cannot refund store purchases ourselves.
5. Your content and encryption
You own what you write in Duoday. You give us only the limited permission needed to store and transmit it, in encrypted form, between you and your partner. Because the content is end-to-end encrypted, we cannot read or moderate it, and we cannot restore it if you and your partner lose the key. Keep your invite link private: anyone who has it can join your pair and read its content. Do not use Duoday to store or share anything unlawful.
6. Leaving a pair
You can leave a pair and delete your data at any time (Me, Leave pair and delete my data). This removes what you shared from our server and cannot be undone. Your partner keeps what is already on their own device. Before you leave, you can hand over ownership of the shared copy to your partner. The Privacy Policy has the details.
7. Acceptable use
Do not misuse or overload the service, try to access other people's data, break or bypass its security or limits, use it for automated bulk access, reverse engineer it except where the law allows, or use it to harass, stalk or harm others. We may suspend access that breaks these rules.
8. Not professional advice
The daily questions are conversation starters. Duoday is not medical, psychological, legal or any other professional advice and is not a substitute for it. If a relationship makes you feel unsafe, please contact local support services or emergency numbers.
9. Availability and changes
We work hard to keep Duoday running but do not promise uninterrupted service. We may change or discontinue features; for paid features you have already bought we will act fairly and in line with consumer law. Use the export function to keep your own copy of anything important.
10. Warranty and liability
To the extent permitted by law, Duoday is provided “as is”. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for Duoday in the 12 months before the claim. This does not apply where the law does not allow such limits, for example liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or under mandatory consumer law. Nothing here limits the rights you have as a consumer under the mandatory laws of your country.
11. Apple and Google
These terms are between you and us, not Apple or Google. Apple and Google have no obligation to provide support or maintenance for Duoday. For the iOS app, Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you. The store terms of Apple and Google also apply to your purchases.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. If you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live and may bring a claim in the courts there.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. Significant changes will be shown in the app. If you keep using Duoday after a change takes effect, you accept the new terms.
